Eupatorium maculatum ‘Red Dwarf’ is a captivating perennial that adds both texture and colour to sunny borders and damp meadows. This cultivar produces large, dome-shaped clusters of lavender-pink flowers atop dark burgundy-red stems, creating a striking effect from mid to late summer. The lance-shaped, dark green leaves form a dense, bushy clump that supports the flowering stems. ‘Red Dwarf’ is particularly attractive to butterflies, enhancing garden biodiversity.

Preferring full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained soil, ‘Red Dwarf’ is relatively low-maintenance. Its compact size makes it suitable for planting in smaller gardens, containers, or as a mid-border plant. Regular removal of spent flowers encourages prolonged blooming, while leaving some seed heads provides winter interest and food for birds. With its vibrant flowers and ecological benefits, ‘Red Dwarf’ is a valuable addition to any garden.
