Aster ‘Blaue Lagune’ is a beautiful perennial cultivar celebrated for its abundant violet-blue, daisy-like flowers with yellow centres that bloom from late summer into autumn. The upright, clump-forming plant has dark green foliage, providing a striking backdrop that enhances the vivid flower colour and adds structure to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial beds. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees and butterflies, supporting pollinators while bringing extended seasonal interest. Hardy and easy to grow, ‘Blaue Lagune’ thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Regular deadheading encourages prolonged flowering and helps maintain a tidy appearance, making it an excellent choice for adding long-lasting late-season colour and visual appeal.
