Aster lateriflorus ‘Horizontalis’ is a hardy perennial admired for its masses of small, white, daisy-like flowers that bloom from late summer into early autumn. The fine, dark green foliage forms low, spreading mats, providing structure and year-round interest in borders, rockeries, or naturalistic plantings. Its flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, adding both colour and ecological value.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil, ‘Horizontalis’ is low-maintenance and tolerant of a variety of garden conditions. The combination of lush foliage, long-lasting blooms, and pollinator-friendly flowers makes it a versatile and visually appealing addition to perennial borders, rockeries, or mixed plantings.
