• Dwarf arborvitae with big impact
• Neat, tailored form
• Easy to prune

If you’re seeking a neat, tailored column for an entryway, Degroot’s Spire is a must-have. This slow-growing variety handles hedging and shearing like a true champion, and its upright, pyramidal habit makes it just perfect for a variety of applications. This hedge can go between buildings, or stand on its own in a front yard. Medium-green foliage offers an elegant, twisting shape that invites a closer look. With a 15 to 20-year lifespan, Degroot’s Spire is a stunning addition to any entrance path, rock garden, or hedge. This Arborvitae is tolerant of clay soil, nearby Black walnut, and air pollution. Avoid full shade and windy, exposed sites, as both can be damaging.
