Doyenne Du Comice is a highly prized fruiting tree valued for its large, sweet, juicy pears with a rich, aromatic flavour. The tree develops a strong, upright growth habit with dense green foliage and produces fragrant white blossoms in spring, followed by smooth-skinned fruit ideal for fresh eating, cooking and preserves. Doyenne Du Comice combines ornamental appeal with reliable and productive cropping, making it well suited to home gardens and orchards.

In spring, the tree produces clusters of white flowers that attract pollinators and enhance garden biodiversity. It grows best in fertile, moisture retentive but well drained soil and performs particularly well in sunny positions where fruit ripens fully. Hardy and dependable, Doyenne Du Comice Pear provides consistent harvests and is well suited to UK gardens.
