Echinacea purpurea Green Twister, commonly known as the Green Twister Coneflower, is a stunning perennial that brings an eye-catching contrast to garden beds and borders. Its bi-coloured blooms feature lime-green petals that blend into rich carmine-red centres, creating a bold and dramatic display. These long-lasting flowers add vibrancy to summer gardens and work well in cut flower arrangements.

Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, Green Twister is a low-maintenance perennial that grows up to 60 cm tall and spreads approximately 45 cm. Blooming from July to September, it provides months of seasonal interest while attracting pollinators such as butterflies and bees. Regular deadheading encourages more blooms, while a winter mulch helps to protect the plant for the following season.

Perfect for wildlife-friendly gardens, Echinacea Green Twister is ideal for planting in borders, cottage gardens, or prairie-style displays. Its vibrant two-tone flowers make a statement in any planting scheme, while its drought tolerance and resilience to pests make it a practical choice for gardeners of all levels. It also serves as an excellent addition to floral arrangements, allowing you to enjoy its striking beauty indoors as well.
