Epimedium ‘Pink Elf’ is a charming perennial that adds subtle elegance to shaded gardens. This cultivar produces delicate, two-tone flowers with light pink sepals and darker pink spurred petals, creating a soft, airy effect above the foliage. The heart-shaped leaves emerge with a reddish-bronze tint in spring, gradually fading to green as the season progresses. Flowering from early to mid-spring, ‘Pink Elf’ attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing garden biodiversity.

Preferring part shade to full shade and well-drained, moist soil, ‘Pink Elf’ is drought-tolerant once established and relatively low-maintenance. Its compact, clump-forming habit makes it suitable for woodland gardens, rock gardens, or as a groundcover beneath shrubs. Regular removal of spent flowers encourages prolonged blooming, while leaving some seed heads provides winter interest and food for birds. With its delicate appearance and ecological benefits, ‘Pink Elf’ is a valuable addition to any garden.
