Euonymus japonicus Green Spire is an evergreen shrub that brings an upright habit into the garden. The green foliage on display is a staple of the plant and, with that aspect lasting throughout the year, you will have a shrub that can bring constant presence and colour to the area it is placed in. Euonymus should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. Watering should be done when the soil is dry to touch, so use this as a gauge for when water is required for the shrub.
