Fargesia robusta ‘Formidable’ is a clump-forming Bamboo that brings structure and elegance to any garden. With its upright canes and dense green foliage, it creates a natural screen or focal point without the invasive spread of running varieties. Its strong, architectural shape makes it a reliable choice for adding height and year-round interest to borders, patios, or larger planting schemes.

Also known as Fountain Bamboo, this hardy plant is easy to grow and thrives in moist, well-drained soil with partial shade. Regular watering during dry spells will keep it looking fresh, and occasional thinning of older canes helps maintain its neat appearance. With minimal care, Fargesia robusta ‘Formidable’ provides privacy, movement, and greenery, making it a practical and stylish addition to any outdoor space.
