Geranium ‘Little David’ is a compact, low-growing perennial that offers vibrant colour and texture to gardens. This cultivar features deeply divided green foliage, forming a neat mound that typically reaches a height and spread of about 20 cm. From June to September, it produces an abundance of magenta-pink flowers, each approximately 4 cm across, adding a cheerful splash to borders, rockeries, or containers. Its dense growth habit makes it an excellent choice for ground cover, effectively suppressing weeds and providing a lush carpet of foliage.

‘Little David’ thrives in full sun and prefers moist but well-drained soil. It is a hardy plant, suitable for various soil types, including chalk, clay, loam, and sand, with a pH range from acid to alkaline. This cultivar is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal care once established. Regular deadheading can encourage prolonged flowering, and while it is relatively drought-tolerant, occasional watering during dry spells will help maintain its vigour. Its resistance to pests and diseases further enhances its appeal for gardeners seeking both beauty and ease of care.
