Geranium ‘Philippe Vapelle’ is a hardy, perennial plant admired for its rich violet-blue flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer, producing a long-lasting and abundant display. The saucer-shaped blooms are carried above finely divided, bright green foliage that forms a neat, compact mound, adding both structure and texture to borders, rockeries, or container plantings. Its vibrant flowers attract bees and other pollinators, enhancing garden biodiversity while providing continuous ornamental interest.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil, Geranium ‘Philippe Vapelle’ is hardy, low-maintenance, and adaptable to a variety of soil types. Occasional removal of spent flowers encourages fresh foliage and can extend the flowering period. Its combination of abundant, long-lasting blooms, lush foliage, and pollinator-friendly characteristics makes it a versatile and reliable addition to cottage gardens, mixed borders, and naturalistic plantings.
