Geranium sanguineum ‘Pink Pouffe’, commonly known as Bloody Cranesbill ‘Pink Pouffe’, is a charming perennial that brings a delicate splash of color to gardens. This low-growing plant reaches up to 20 cm in height and spreads approximately 30 cm, forming a neat, compact mound of finely divided mid-green foliage. Its dense growth habit makes it an excellent choice for ground cover in rockeries, alpine gardens, or at the front of borders.

From May through July, ‘Pink Pouffe’ produces an abundance of pale pink, cup-shaped flowers adorned with darker pink veins. These blossoms not only enhance the visual appeal of the garden but also attract pollinators, supporting local biodiversity. The vibrant blooms contrast beautifully against the lush green foliage, creating a dynamic and eye-catching display.

This hardy geranium thrives in well-drained soils under full sun or partial shade and is known for its resilience, tolerating various conditions except for waterlogged soils. Low maintenance and versatile, ‘Pink Pouffe’ is an ideal addition for gardeners seeking long-lasting beauty with minimal upkeep. Regular deadheading of spent flowers can encourage continuous blooming and maintain the plant’s tidy appearance.
