Hemerocallis ‘Daria’ is a striking daylily cultivar known for its large, ruffled purple flowers with golden-yellow edges and a greenish-yellow throat. Introduced by hybridizer Heemskerk in 2012, this semi-evergreen perennial offers a profusion of blooms throughout the summer months, adding a touch of elegance and colour to any garden. Its compact size makes it suitable for borders, containers, and mixed plantings, while its vibrant flowers attract pollinators, enhancing garden biodiversity.

Beyond its visual appeal, ‘Daria’ is valued for its resilience and adaptability. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is tolerant of various soil types, including clay, loam, and sand. The plant prefers moist but well-drained soil and is relatively low-maintenance, requiring only occasional deadheading to promote continuous blooming. Its ability to re-bloom and its attractive foliage make it a reliable and charming addition to any garden.
