Hemerocallis ‘Super Purple’ is a semi-evergreen, herbaceous perennial renowned for its striking deep purple flowers with a lime green throat. Each bloom measures approximately 14 cm across and is held above a clump of arching, strap-like green leaves, making it suitable for borders, containers, or as a groundcover. This cultivar is appreciated for its extended blooming period, providing a continuous display of colour throughout the growing season.

Preferring full sun to partial shade, ‘Super Purple’ is adaptable to various soil types, including loam, sandy, and clay soils. It thrives in moist but well-drained conditions and is tolerant of both acidic and alkaline pH levels. As a low-maintenance plant, it requires minimal care to thrive and can be propagated by division in early spring or early autumn.
