Hosta \’Eclipse\’ is a striking, large-sized perennial that forms a dense, upright mound of thick, heart-shaped leaves. The foliage features a broad blue-green centre surrounded by wide, creamy-yellow margins that brighten as the season progresses. The leaves are slightly cupped, corrugated, and glaucous on top, adding texture and interest to shaded garden areas.

In mid to late summer, \’Eclipse\’ produces tall scapes adorned with clusters of near-white flowers, adding vertical interest and attracting pollinators. This cultivar thrives in moist, well-drained soils and prefers partial to full shade. It is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal care to thrive and provide year-round interest in the garden.
