Hosta \’June\’ is a striking perennial that adds both texture and structure to shaded garden spaces. This cultivar features heart-shaped leaves with a creamy-white centre that changes to a dark chartreuse, surrounded by blue-green edges. The foliage forms a dense, upright mound, making it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen plant in containers. The wide, rippled margins add a dramatic effect, creating a bold contrast against the centre of the leaves.

In early to mid-summer, \’June\’ produces tall scapes adorned with pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers that attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. This hosta thrives in moist, well-drained, organically rich soil and prefers partial to full shade, though it can tolerate some morning sun. Once established, it is relatively low-maintenance and offers excellent slug resistance due to its thick, textured leaves. \’June\’ is a versatile and dependable perennial that adds both visual appeal and ecological value to shaded areas.
