Hosta ‘T-Dawg’ is a striking perennial that forms a medium-sized mound of slightly wavy, smooth-textured foliage. The leaves are deep green with a creamy yellow centre, bordered by a wide green margin. In mid to late summer, it produces pale lavender flowers on tall, straight scapes, adding vertical interest to shaded gardens. This cultivar is vigorous and can tolerate some direct sun, where its best colour shows. Fairly resistant to slugs and snails, it is a reliable choice for adding texture and colour to shaded areas.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Hosta ‘T-Dawg’ provides ecological benefits by offering nectar for pollinators and shelter for small insects. Its dense foliage also helps suppress weeds, reducing the need for chemical interventions. With minimal maintenance requirements, it is a long-lasting addition to woodland gardens, shaded borders, and container plantings.
