Pinky Winky is a compact Hydrangea Paniculata variety boasting dark purple-red stems, mid-green foliage and large, conical panicles of pink summer flowers. These spicy-scented, star-shaped flowers emerge from green-white buds and bloom from August to September, providing colour interest late in the season. The strong stems hold the panicles, which can reach up to 40cm long, upright to create an eye-catching show of flowers.

Position your new Hydrangea plant in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. To promote strong roots, add some organic matter into the soil and water the shrub regularly until fully established. Prune hard in early spring to encourage a spectacular show of summer flowers. Pinky Winky is hardy in the UK, however, pot-grown shrubs may need some added winter protection over the coldest months.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
