Kniphofia uvaria is a striking perennial that brings dramatic vertical colour and architectural interest to the garden. Its tall, upright flower spikes are densely packed with tubular blooms that range from fiery red to bright orange and yellow, creating a vibrant, flame-like display. The arching, grass-like green foliage forms neat clumps, providing structure and contrast that enhances the bold colours of the flowers. This variety is ideal for borders, mixed perennial beds, or as a focal point where its long-lasting blooms can be showcased.

This hardy perennial thrives in well-drained soils and prefers full sun. Flowering from midsummer into early autumn, Kniphofia uvaria is valued for its reliable performance, low-maintenance growth, and its ability to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Its combination of bold colouring, upright form, and resilience makes it an excellent choice for adding both ornamental and ecological value to sunny garden spaces.
