The Mexican Custard Apple, also known as Annona reticulata, is a tropical fruit tree prized for its large, heart-shaped fruit and creamy, sweet flesh. The fruit has a green to reddish-brown skin with a smooth, slightly netted texture. Inside, the flesh is soft and custard-like, with a rich, sweet flavour reminiscent of vanilla, banana, and berries. It is often enjoyed fresh, in desserts, or blended into smoothies. The tree itself is hardy and thrives in warm, tropical climates, making it well-suited for home gardens and orchards.
