Arguably one of the most famous and beloved Peonies in the world, ‘Sarah Bernhardt’ produces enormous, fully double, apple-blossom pink flowers with a heavenly fragrance. The tightly packed petals occasionally feature delicate, crimson-flecked edges, offering a romantic, vintage charm that is unmatched in the herbaceous border.

Like all peonies, it requires patience to establish, but will reward you for decades if planted correctly in a sunny spot with rich, well-drained soil. Because the massive, heavily petaled blooms become incredibly heavy when wet, sturdy staking is absolutely essential to prevent the plant from collapsing under its own weight.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
