Penstemon ‘Apple Blossom’ is a charming cottage garden favourite, showcasing tall spikes of tubular, foxglove-like blooms in a delicate blend of pale pink and white. These flowers rise above clumps of neat green foliage, bringing soft, pastel tones to mixed borders and containers throughout summer and into autumn. Its a magnet for pollinators and a showstopper in any traditional or informal garden scheme.

Ideal for UK gardens, Penstemon ‘Apple Blossom’ performs best in fertile, well-drained soil under full sun or light shade. Flowering from June through to October, its long blooming period adds sustained seasonal interest. Deadheading spent blooms will encourage continuous flowering, while a light mulch helps retain soil moisture in warmer months.

This hardy perennial makes an excellent addition to perennial borders, wildlife gardens, or as a focal point in patio pots. Loved by bees and butterflies, it helps support local biodiversity. Penstemon ‘Apple Blossom’ is also suitable for cut flower arrangements, allowing its pastel beauty to brighten up indoor spaces too.

This perennial is ideal for gardeners seeking to add dramatic foliage and late-season colour to their landscapes. Its bold presence enhances shaded borders, woodland gardens, and areas near ponds or streams. Additionally, the vibrant flowers attract pollinators, contributing to garden biodiversity.
