Persicaria affinis Kabouter is a charming, low-growing perennial with dense mats of lush green foliage that provide year-round interest. In summer, it produces spikes of small, bright pink flowers that rise above the foliage, attracting bees and butterflies and adding both colour and ecological value to garden borders, rockeries, or groundcover plantings. Its compact, spreading habit makes it ideal for edging paths or filling gaps in perennial beds.

This hardy perennial thrives in moist, well-drained soil and prefers a sunny to partially shaded position. Fully suited to the UK climate, it is low maintenance, requiring only occasional trimming to maintain a neat shape and encourage healthy growth. Its long-lasting flowers provide seasonal interest, while the dense foliage helps suppress weeds and protect soil. Persicaria affinis Kabouter combines attractive blooms with practical groundcover qualities, making it a versatile and dependable addition to any garden.
