Phlox paniculata ‘Magic Blue’ is a striking perennial that adds elegance and colour to garden borders and mixed plantings. Its large, fragrant flowers start as violet with a white centre and gradually transform to lilac-pink with a smoky overlay, creating a dynamic display. The plant’s upright, clump-forming habit and dark green foliage provide structure and visual interest while attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. With its extended blooming period from midsummer into early autumn, ‘Magic Blue’ offers long-lasting colour and ecological value.

Thriving in fertile, well-drained soil, ‘Magic Blue’ prefers full sun to partial shade. Regular deadheading of spent flowers encourages continued blooming and helps maintain a tidy appearance. Phlox paniculata ‘Magic Blue’ combines aesthetic appeal with ecological benefits, making it a versatile and rewarding addition to UK gardens.
