Phlox paniculata ‘Nicky’ is an upright, herbaceous perennial that reaches approximately 90 cm in height. It features dark green lance-shaped leaves and stems, with large, terminal panicles of fragrant, deep magenta-purple flowers. These blooms appear from mid-summer into early autumn, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies while adding colour and structure to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed plantings. Its upright habit provides visual interest and ecological value.

Thriving in fertile, well-drained soil, ‘Nicky’ prefers full sun to partial shade. Regular deadheading of spent flowers encourages continued flowering and maintains a tidy appearance. Phlox paniculata ‘Nicky’ combines long-lasting floral display, resilience, and wildlife support, making it a versatile and rewarding choice for UK gardens.
