Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift for a loved one or a new shrub to brighten up your own outdoor space, you can’t go far wrong with this Shrub Rose Roald Dahl plant. This charming rose was named for the centenary of the famous author’s birth and the pale orange tones are reminiscent of one of his most beloved novels, James and the Giant Peach.

Glossy dark-green leaves emerge in spring, providing the perfect backdrop for the large, fragrant roses that bloom in summer. Appearing as early as June and repeat-flowering into October, the eye-catching apricot roses have an attractive tea scent and will be the envy of your neighbours all summer long.

Shrub Rose Roald Dahl is an undemanding deciduous plant that is long-lasting and easy to grow. It prefers an open spot in full sun or partial shade and thrives in most moist but well-draining soil types. Ideal for beds, borders, and cottage gardens, shrub roses also grow well in pots and containers and are a fantastic choice for brightening south-facing patios.

The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
