Spiraea arguta, also known as the “Bridal Wreath”, is a medium-sized, deciduous shrub of an upright and rounded habit, with narrow foliage of about 4 cm in length and medium green in colour. The leaves will change to vibrant hues of yellows and oranges in autumn.

In early spring, sprays of dainty white flowers bloom along the long, arching branches, creating a stunning foam-like display that grants the plant another common name – “Foam of May”. The flowers will attract a number of pollinators, including bees.

Growing to an ultimate height and spread of 1.5-2.5m, Spiraea Arguta is ideal for borders and flowerbeds, especially for filling in any gaps. Enjoy a beautiful flower show in spring, and vivid green foliage all through summer and autumn.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only – The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
