Strawberry Red Gauntlet is a tough, compact strawberry plant with notable disease resistance and cold hardiness. A great variety for those looking for heavy croppers as it is known to produce a large crop of sweet, bright red berries during mid-summer along with a good chance of a second smaller crop in the autumn months.

Strawberries will grow best in full sun while maintaining soil moisture with up to daily watering depending on the heat. Plant in a loose, Loamy soil and supplement with a liquid fertiliser.
