Strawberry – Ruby Ann is an everbearing strawberry plant, producing an abundance of sweet, red fruits. The plant is known for its unusual ruby-red flowers, compared to most other varieties, which produce white flowers. Strawberries are a very popular fruit, and an excellent source of antioxidants and Vitamin C. The fruit is most commonly eaten raw but can also be cooked into desserts or made into smoothies. Plant in early spring, in a position with full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Harvest red fruits, to encourage more to grow.
