Sunset is a modern English dessert apple variety prized for its sweet, aromatic flavour, crisp texture and attractive medium sized fruit. The tree develops a moderately vigorous, spreading habit with healthy green foliage and produces apples with yellow skin flushed and striped with red. The flesh is firm, juicy and pleasantly aromatic, making it ideal for fresh eating and suitable for cooking or salads.

In spring, Sunset is covered in abundant white blossom that attracts bees and other pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity. It thrives in fertile, well drained soil and a sunny position, allowing fruit to develop full flavour and vibrant colour. Well suited to UK gardens, Sunset combines ornamental appeal, ecological value and a reliable autumn harvest with straightforward care requirements.
