Sweet Turnip has white flesh and a crisp texture that is perfect for stews, casseroles and stir fry dishes. It has a sweeter flavour than regular turnip. Also known as the Salad Turnip, it makes a tasty addition to salads when grated. Even the leaves are edible and can be cooked and enjoyed in the same way as spinach.

This tasty root vegetable is easy to grow in your kitchen garden, whether in beds, borders or containers. It is best harvested young when the roots reach around 6-8cm in diameter – about the size of a golf ball. Youll find that the smaller the roots, the sweeter the flavour.

This 8 cell tray is ready to be planted out in beds, borders, pots or containers.
