‘Katherine Havemeyer’ is an award-winning French Lilac that features enormous, densely packed panicles of heavily fragrant, double flowers. The blooms transition beautifully, starting as dark purplish-pink buds and opening out into a soft, lavender-pink, creating a beautiful, multi-tonal effect on a sturdy, upright shrub.

Like all lilacs, it resents sitting in waterlogged soil and requires excellent drainage and plenty of sunlight. It benefits from an annual feed with a general-purpose fertilizer; ensure you deadhead the spent blooms immediately after they fade to direct the plant’s energy into producing next year’s fragrant flower buds.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
