Tellima rubra brings a soft woodland feel to sunny and shaded areas alike, with elegant spires of tiny bell like flowers rising above scalloped green foliage. Known as Fringecups, it produces blooms that open a fresh green and gradually deepen to soft pink tones, adding gentle movement and subtle colour to borders, pathways, and naturalistic planting schemes. Its relaxed, understated style makes it a lovely choice for creating calm, textured spaces in the garden.

Fringecups is easy to care for and settles in well with just a little attention. It grows best in partial shade with soil that stays lightly moist, and once established it needs very little upkeep. A light mulch in spring helps keep the plant looking fresh, while trimming back spent flower stems keeps the display tidy. With steady, reliable growth year after year, Tellima rubra brings lasting charm to any outdoor space.
