Thalictrum ‘Purple Wings’, commonly known as Meadow Rue, is a striking perennial that adds a touch of elegance to garden borders. It features delicate, airy foliage reminiscent of ferns, and tall, slender stems topped with clusters of lavender-pink, fluffy flowers. These blooms create a soft, ethereal effect, adding both height and texture to garden designs. Ideal for cottage or woodland-style gardens, this plant is especially effective at the back of borders, where its upright habit provides vertical interest.

Reaching up to 150 cm in height, Thalictrum ‘Purple Wings’ thrives in moist, well-drained soil with partial shade, making it perfect for shadier garden spots. Though relatively low-maintenance, it benefits from regular watering during dry spells. Its attractive foliage and flowers not only enhance visual appeal but also attract pollinators, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.
