Thuja orientalis Blue Cone is a compact, upright conifer valued for its dense, soft blue-green foliage and neat, oval to conical habit. As the plant matures, it produces distinctive glaucous-blue cones that stand out beautifully against the bright green, vertically arranged sprays of foliage. This hardy, slow-growing variety maintains good colour year-round, with only mild bronzing in winter. Its tidy form and moderate growth rate make it an excellent choice for mixed borders, low screening, rock gardens, containers, or anywhere a touch of texture and formality is desired.
